Don't get me wrong. I love a wedding guest book. At the end of the day, you can take it home and read all the great notes from your loved ones and keep it as memorabilia on your coffee table. However, if you're looking to do something funky and different, I have some fun alternatives for you. Here are five unique wedding guest book options that will make your guests feel more involved and create lasting memories:
A Globe
For the adventurous couple, a globe guest book is a fun and creative way to capture your guests' best wishes. Have guests sign and write messages on different countries, states, and oceans. And if you're thinking: "what will I do with a globe after this?" You'd honestly be surprised at how often you'll find yourself reaching for a globe if you have one. It could also look great in an office or den in your house. You could even make a fun game out of it and wherever you finger lands on the globe, you have to visit there and take the advice/itinerary of the guest who wrote on it!

Jenga
This one is the most fun, and I also might be the most partial to it because I did it for my own wedding. It's super interactive and your guests can begin to build the Jenga blocks up as they each fill out a message on the blocks. When you and your partner play Jenga on future anniversaries, or whenever you play Jenga, you can read the messages and relive your wedding day. I can only promise based off my own experiences, all messages were PG on each block.

Anniversary Wine Bottles
I love this option! Put out wine bottles for different milestones. You can do first anniversary, fifth, tenth and fifteenth (you can do more or less depending on how many guests you have). Leave markers or pens out for your guests and let them write messages on the wine bottles. This can be your favorite wine or maybe expensive wines that you want to try in the future. This helps creates a unique time capsule for your future anniversaries and fun messages to read along with each year you open a bottle. It's a great way to walk down memory lane!

Phone Audio Guest Book
Anyone else stockpile voicemails on their phones from family members and friends? Maybe just me? Well, I honestly wish I had tried this one out for my own wedding. There is a few different companies that do this now like after the tone, life on record, and the telephone guestbook. It's great because instead of your guests writing a message, they leave you a voice message. The companies usually take the recordings after and put it together for you to save digitally forever. Imagine having a message from your grandparents, parents, and best friends forever saved and immortalized with their voices. Such a meaningful option, but obviously not something you can display afterwards.

Instant Camera Guest Book
This is perhaps the most involved and interactive option of all of them. This helps you create a visual memory book with an instant camera. Set up an area with an instant camera, props, and an empty guest book. Guests can take photos and write messages on the back before adding them to a scrapbook. This will create a fun and interactive experience for your guests and a beautiful keepsake for you.

Any of these options would be great alternatives to a classic wedding guest book, just choose what is right for you and your partner!
